There's always something special about a Victorian cottage and this one nestled within a small community yet close to the centre of Cranleigh provides all the benefits of countryside living without the isolation. There are two beautiful spaces downstairs, a sitting room with high ceilings and a pretty open fireplace which is a great room to curl up with a book and enjoy the peace and quiet after a long day. The other room is the open dining room and kitchen which connects directly in to the garden. One of the underestimated features of the cottage is the covered entranceway which is used in the winter as a large bootroom, a fantastic space to throw off the wellies and dry off the muddy, wet dog. For those working from home there's an office set up across the driveway at the back of the garage, a commute from home in less than a minute!
"I moved here about ten years ago and one of the most exciting things was the walled garden which I have so enjoyed developing, Along with this, we are surrounded by beautiful countryside, including some wonderful bluebell woods, plenty of walks, wildlife and amazing night skies. It's now time for me to move on, but I hope the new owners will get as much pleasure living here as I have done."
